Novel Journey Non-Par
From Falsipedia
In conjunction with [Novel Journey], the Editors of Falsipedia.com would like to announce the winner of the 12th Annual Novel Journey Non-Par Contest.
The Novel Journey Non-Par Contest is an annual competition recognizing excellence in Non-Par. The winner of the contest is awarded with a prize package including a $50,000 check, the deed to a small, uninhabited tropical isle and the prestigious Novel Journey Non-Par Cup. This year's island was previously owned by multi-platinum selling rapper Chef-Boi MC, who had to sell the island in order to pay outstanding income taxes.
After weeks of deliberation and heated discussion, the fast-food wrappers were cleaned out of the offices of the award committee and a unanimous decision was reached among the committee members still conscious. The winner of the 2008 Novel Journey Non-Par Contest is Kelly Klepfer. Ms. Klepfer's quick wit and professionalism exceeded expectations and certainly placed her ahead of the closest runners' up. Her comments upon receiving the phone call notifying her of her prestigious award, "What? Who is this? Whatever!" will be emblazoned on the Non-Par Cup. Sadly, after the damages caused by this year's deliberation process, this may be the last year that the contest is offered.
About Novel Journey
[Novel Journey] is a blog that now boasts 6.7 million hits a day and is considered by many to be the single most influential literary site online today.
About Falsipedia.com
The editors of Falsipedia would encourage Ms. Klepfer to step aside and give others a chance in the event that future contests are offered by Novel Journey. In addition, the editors of Falsipedia do not encourage boasting.
About Uninhabited Tropical Islands
Most uninhabited tropical islands are owned by Hollywood big shots. These islands do occasionally come on the real estate market when the owners are in trouble with the IRS or their talent has been eclipsed by their appetites. Those islands not currently owned are probably really, really small or they might be home to an active volcano. Such islands are not recommended investments.
